What is The Center for Contract Compliance?The Center for Contract Compliance (CCC) is a non-profit organization that was created in response to the concerns of contractors and labor with the unlawful disregard for the laws governing public works. The CCC was founded by the Southern California District Council of Laborers and its affiliated local unions in conjunction with the following contractor associations:
The CCC advocates compliance with prevailing wage, labor and public contract bidding laws to establish a level playing field for contractors competing for public works contracts, guarantee workers are properly compensated, and facilitate quality construction for public agencies. Our investigators, many with bilingual abilities, investigate and monitor publics works projects and contractors to ensure that these laws and regulations are followed. The CCC also works closely with the agencies entrusted with enforcement of these laws and regulations. These agencies include:
